Everyday Moments of Truth
This short assessment can help give people a sense of how much their everyday decision-making is motivated by being honest and fair.
Most of us know the difference between right and wrong. We know the difference between telling the truth and telling a lie. We can explain why honesty and integrity are important. We have ethics.
Most of us also know how easy it is to justify our actions:
- “It’s such a small thing, what’s the big deal?”
- “No one will know.”
- “Everyone else does it.”
Our character is built one decision at a time. The challenge is to cut through the noise, halt the rationalizations, and consider the actual choices we face.
Note: This is a personal assessment intended only as a snapshot. It is not a detailed assessment of your character. It is designed to get you thinking about a few choices you might make in certain everyday situations.
For training on this topic, we recommend Moment of Truth.
